This has an almost surreal color to it. Like the contrast in the verse - one can picture the magpies very well LOL Good one Polona!

I thought that magpies will argue and or scold about any old thing, but surely even they were awed for just a moment by that surreal sunset?!

You truly captured the magic light of sunset without needing to show the sun. Those magpies had much to admire and needn't argue. All they had to do was look skyward.
