Lovely post, polona :)

The crows are NEVER quiet here - always gossiping about one thing or another - or fighting :)
Love the personification in this.

Probably wondering when the sun is going to shine again.

No, zdajle si ne želim snega...

Looks to me like a planning session of where to bomb next. Crows and gray skies go together perfectly!!

Very good - I like the way each line further reinforces the mood. And the way the thinking could belong to you or the crows, or both.

As long as their not thinking what Hitchcock's birds were thinking. Beautiful image Polona. Words work perfectly!

lepi verzi in krasna fotka.

patricija: thank you :)

janice: yes, they are loud here most of the time, too.
many thanks.

quilly: perhaps... haven't seen it in three days

masago: how did you know?
(in more than one sense) :)))

andrew: thank you

floots: perhaps it's the other way around... the crows may control me
thank you

magiceye: not so much...

objem!

john: thank you

don: indeed :)
thank you

hvala ti.

pat: they do indeed. i wonder what they were up to. but then again, perhaps they thought the same about us...

jem: thank you.
yes, the ambiguity was intentional (couldn't preserve it in the slovene version, though)

aleks: bo že nekaj na tem...
hvala, imej se!

boulies: for some reason pigeons remind me of hitchcock more than crows. many thanks!

objem!

Nice juxtaposition, polona, both within the poem and between the poem and the picture.
