this is wonderful, the swifts are flying around here too, though thankfully for the moment at least the storm clouds have lifted.
cgp: i'm almost ashamed to admit but this is the first time i have actually noticed that the strange "swallows" in this coastal town of Piran are swifts. haven't seen them inlands.thank you for your visit and kind comment.
Coming back from Italy, my strongest memory is of the swifts - constantly wheeling and crying as they swirled above the narrow streets... nice picture
