That's neat... not the usual carrion you'd expect a buzzard to get excited over (maybe something else was cut down there). :-)

If the buzzard is interesed in the felled tree, one has to wonder what the tree fell on. Perhaps the woodcutter?

You take nice photos. Looks to me like the remains of a persimmon tree, or bush?
Thanks for visiting.

margie: thank you for your kind words :)

masago: i don't suppose it was, but who knows... (the birds, maybe)

andrew: many thanks.

john: thanks

trinity: thank you!

floots: just don't fall over into the stream :)
thank you

pat: thank you!

quilly: perhaps it was just upset for losing its perch ;-)

goatman: thank you. the climate has been too harsh for persimmons to grow in this area. i'm not sure which tree it was... i'm thinking maybe willow...

kai: thank you

The sight of felled trees saddens me.
Too many trees are felled in my country.
