perhaps another word is needed here. the flower in the photo is the spring vriety of snowflake (oh, yes, i had to look it up, too :)) and is not the same as snowdrop. given the almost snowless winter that we had and the fact they emerged earlier than usual i thought its name was quite appropriate for this haiga
