it's been raining here most of the day. however, i'm not in the mood for posting rain photos as today, other than being mum's 70th birthday (which of course is significant enough, but that's family business and won't be discussed here), rounds the first year of my blogging.
on top of that, it's the eve of the culture day, a holiday in slovenia. we're a morbid bunch, are slovenes. rather than glorious achievements we celebrate a poet's death. but that's not what this post is about either.
what i wanted to say is, i've enjoyed this year in the blogland. when i started blogging i had no idea where it would take me. now i can say i've (re)discovered my love of photography and poetry, participated in a few interesting ventures, met (albeit virtually) some wonderful people, learned many new things... all in all, it's been an overwhelming experience.
i don't know how much longer i'll be enjoying blogging but as long as i do the posts will keep coming.
thank you all who have ever stopped by any of my blogs (whether or not you've left a comment), and especially to the regular readers - your presence has done much to make all the effort worthwhile.
